You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter the "Terms") and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing these sites.
Canoë Interpretation provides a suite of AI-powered language interpretation services for healthcare and other critical settings.
Our services include different interpretation modalities accessible via our subdomains, specifically:
Certain services offer a "Specialist" mode using enhanced verification for higher accuracy. However, this does not guarantee 100% accuracy. Please refer to Section 3 for important disclaimers.
IMPORTANT: Canoë Interpretation uses artificial intelligence. While we strive for high accuracy, AI interpretation (whether consecutive or simultaneous) is not infallible and may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations.
Canoë Interpretation does not provide medical, legal, or professional advice. The service facilitates communication only.
New accounts may receive free interpretation minutes. These minutes are not transferable between different accounts or subdomains unless otherwise stated.
After exhausting free minutes, continued use requires a paid subscription. Details of available plans are displayed in the relevant application.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
Unused minutes from a subscription period do not roll over to the next period. At the start of each billing cycle, your balance resets according to your plan's allocation.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refund requests may be made within 14 days of the initial purchase by contacting support@canoeinterpretation.com. No partial refunds are provided for mid-cycle cancellations.
You may use the Platform for lawful interpretation purposes in personal, professional, healthcare, or institutional contexts.

Your use of all Canoë Interpretation subdomains is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The content, features, and underlying technology of app, simo, and talk.canoeinterpretation.com are owned by Canoë Interprétation Inc. and are protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the content you submit (voice/text). You grant us a limited license to process this content solely for providing the service.
We may terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY QUEBEC LAW, CANOË INTERPRÉTATION INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Canoë Interprétation Inc. from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, particularly in cases of internet connectivity issues, maintenance, or third-party API failures.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Longueuil, Quebec.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
